‘Write something for me, please?’ Kuma loves singing so much, but he almost gave up his dream, street musician. That was when a mother and a girl visited him. They told him that the girl had just come out of a juvie. It happened in autumn 2023, when he found out about 'a street poet' and then started working as a street artist, making poems using words came to his mind and writing them on the postcards. He was a bit confused because they said ‘juvie’ but pondered a lot about that girl while listening to her story about her friends, family, school, society and herself.

After much thinking, he gave them a postcard with words written that just came up his mind. And then they expressed their gratitude and full of tears. He writes a letter containing messages that he couldn't convey through a song. Since that day, he has established the original performance ‘see you, feel you, write a letter (song) for you'. He was born in Kyoto. His family had moved around a lot for work, then finally he has settled down in Hiroshima. I work at a nursing institute as a care worker, supporting elderly people with their daily lives. Nursing care is hard. I really think that is true. Dementia is not forgetful, it is disease of the brain, where things that used to be connected are no longer connected properly. However I feel there are more things they can do depends on how people around them, including me think about the disease.The word to remind myself to do my job properly.

I realized it because of the kids who write calligraphy together after school or when I go to the day service. “Thank you” without hart is never reach to people. “Sorry” without feeling responsibility is never reach to people. When I talk with elder people, I often can't have an appropriate conversation, but they can tell me what they feel and jokes too. I cherish those moments. They tell me jokes. Once I hear that, I laugh with all I might. Laughing out loud. Laughing is really important in daily life. Laugh hard. Laugh with gratitude.
